At ww this week I was down .8 it is coming off very slowly. I’m okay with that as long as it is a downward slide.

This week I did:
Tues – Slide and Glide
Wed- Walk with Zowie 3 mi
Thurs Walk with Zowie 2 mi
Friday- Ilaria and walk with Zowie
Saturday – Tracie Long Vol. 2
Sunday – Walk with Zowie
Monday – Walk 1.5 mi

Looking for 12 pounds dumbbells. I didn’t like the ones at Sports Auth. so I’ll continue to search. Bought these Cap Barbell Fitness Urethane Covered Dumbbell (Black) on Amazon.

A new start

Today I joined weight watchers and I did Low Impact Challenge. It was fun. I made it through all of the step portion; skipped some of the lunge/kicks off the step but did most of the rest of it. At the end Cathe keeps going and going and at one point I can see Jai laughing at her since she seems ready and willing to do anything that she throws out. However Brenda and Lorraine don’t look quite as happy. I like this one a lot. I hope to do a low impact rotation. Weight watchers was a little funny. I went to a new center and it was kind of small and cramped. I needed to combine my online account with the in-person account when I got home so I didn’t really officially join yet. So annoying. I think I like having a place to go to get up and out on Saturday mornings. We’ll see how it goes. $48.00 a month. Ick.

Well, I only got one workout in last week before work. I’ll try to do better this coming week. Today (Saturday) I did Cathe F. Low Impact Circuit. …everything but the abs. I felt that I did pretty much the whole DVD and I remember doing this DVD a few months ago and I had to take a lot of breaks. So I feel like my fitness is improving. Yea!! Hooray!! I need to keep at it though. I had a bad day at work on Friday so I went to Ross Dress for Less and they had some random fitness equipment for cheap. I bought a 6 lb weighted ball (Tracie Long uses a weighted ball in one of the new DVDs I purchased and I think Cathe uses one in the new XTrain DVDs). I also bought 1 pd. weights that you wrap around your wrists. They were only $5.00 …which is good because when I was at Target last night they had a similar thing but it wrapped around your thumb and probably stays in place a little easier. Oh well …it cheered me up. Food is challenge for me during the holidays. I’m going to try to keep on track as much as I can.
